Civil Litigation Breach of Contract $3.2M Verdict: Plaintiff and Defendant entered into an agreement whereby Plaintiff was to manufacture a minimum amount of OSHA certified furniture over a defined period of time and Defendant was to distribute the end product. Defendant failed to order the contractual minimum causing financial harm to the Plaintiff. After trial, the Court found in favor of the Plaintiff and awarded $3.2m in damages.

Civil Litigation Breach of Contract $63,463.84 Verdict: Plaintiff was in the process of selling his house to the Defendant. It was discovered at the closing table that the Defendant did not borrow enough money from his bank and the Plaintiff agreed to take back a note and mortgage for the deficient amount which was to be repaid within one year. Defendant failed to pay as promised. After several attempts to reach a settlement, the Plaintiff had no recourse but to file suit. The Court found in favor of the Plaintiff and awarded him $63,463.84 in damages.

Civil Litigation Declaratory Judgment $149,399.00 Verdict: Husband and wife named each other as the beneficiaries of their respective IRA’s. The parties divorced, but never changed the beneficiary designations of their IRA’s. The wife passed away and the wife’s estate and the ex-husband made a claim to the IRA funds. Suit was brought in the Federal District Court of New Hampshire, and in a case of first impression, the Court ruled in favor if our client, the plaintiff ex-husband, and awarded him the entire IRA amount of $149,399.00.

Settlement Breach of Contract Fraud $19,000.00: Suit was brought against our client alleging documents he filed at the Registry of Deeds, caused a later owner of record to suffer damages. Counter-suit was brought alleging the documents were fraudulent and that our client was the party wrongfully harmed. Evidence supported our client’s claim, and was awarded $19,000.00.

Settlement Personal Injury Beauty Parlor Injury $15,000.00: Our client patronized a beauty salon for the application of acrylic fingernails. The technician negligently drilled down through the nailbed of the pinky finger of our client’s non-dominant hand, causing temporary pain and suffering and was awarded $15,000.00

Settlement Personal Injury Beauty Parlor Injury $30,000.00: Our client patronized a beauty salon for eyebrow waxing. The technician negligently applied the wax, causing the removal of the top layer of skin from her forehead, causing temporary scarring, pain and suffering and was awarded $30,000.00

Settlement Personal Injury Dog Bite $11,000.00: Our client was making a home package delivery and was bitten on the hand by the homeowner’s dog when passing the package to the resident. In addition to temporary pain and suffering, our client required 3 stiches and a tetanus shot. He was awarded $11,000.00.

Settlement Personal Injury Dog Bite $12,000.00: Our client was making a home package delivery and was bitten on the leg by the homeowner’s dog while walking up the resident’s driveway. In addition to temporary pain and suffering, our client required a tetanus shot. He was awarded $12,000.00.

Settlement Personal Injury Dog Related Injury $120,000.00: Our client was riding her horse on a marked trail, when three unrestrained dogs (all owned by the same person) chased after the horse, causing it to startle and throw our client, causing injuries, pain and suffering lasting approximately 6 months. Our client was awarded $120,000.00

Settlement Personal Injury Dog Bite $41,276.00: Our client was a house guest and was bitten on the leg as she was walking by the homeowner’s dog. In addition to temporary pain and suffering, our client required 5 stiches and a tetanus shot. she was awarded $41,276.00.

Settlement Personal Injury Motor Vehicle $166,837.00: Our client was the passenger in motor vehicle in which the operator lost consciousness causing a head-on collision with another vehicle. Our client suffered significant, but temporary injuries and was awarded $166,837.00

Settlement Personal Injury Motor Vehicle $84,515.00: Our client was operating a motorcycle on a public way and was broadsided by a car making a left hand turn in front of him. Our client suffered a temporary ankle injury requiring physical therapy and was awarded $84,515.00.

Settlement Personal Injury Motor Vehicle $42,000.00: Our client was operating her car and was broadsided by another car. Both initially argued they had the right of way. Our client suffered moderate, but temporary injuries. Through our presentation of the facts and evidence, it was determined the other operator was at fault and our client was awarded $42,000.00

Settlement Personal Injury Motor Vehicle $43,109.00: Our client was operating his car and was broadsided by another car that had ran a stop sign. Our client suffered minor, but temporary injuries. Our client had prior existing medical issues and it was argued by the insurance company that his injuries from the car accident couldn’t be distinguished from his prior existing condition. Through our presentation of the facts and evidence, it was determined the his injuries were distinguishable and he was awarded $42,000.00

Settlement Personal Injury Motor Vehicle $48,500.00: Our client was a teenage backseat passenger in a vehicle being operated by another teenager. The teenager lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll-over several times. Our client suffered a concussion and was hospitalized for observation, but was otherwise uninjured. He was awarded $48,500.00.

Settlement Personal Injury Motor Vehicle $50,000.00: Our client was walking to her parked car in a shopping mall and was clipped by a slow moving car that was passing her, causing our client to suffer a bruised knee requiring short term physical therapy. She was awarded $50,000.00.

Settlement Personal Injury Negligent Security $12,500.00: Our client was patronizing a nightclub with her friends and was knock over by two other patrons who were engaged in a fight. Our client was knocked to the ground and suffered a concussion which resolved itself in a few days. She was awarded $12,500.00

Settlement Personal Injury Products Liability $50,000.00: Our client was dunking a basketball using a height adjustable basketball pole. Our client caught his two front teeth on the basketball netting causing him to fracture his upper-jaw requiring corrective dental care. He was awarded $50,000.00. Settlement Personal Injury Slip & Fall $40,000.00: Our client was walking her dog in her condominium complex and stepped in a pothole causing her to sprain her ankle. She was awarded $30,000.00

Settlement Wrongful Interference $75,000.00: Our client had suffered the sudden passing of her husband. The Husband’s family sought to disinherit our client from funds she was designated to receive from his trust. Settlement was reached after suit was brought, and she was awarded her share of $75,000.00.
